Story: (8.5 | 10)
"Our second downloadable content pack, "The Writer," finds Wake in strange circumstances; now fully aware of the thing that opposes him, he must survive one increasingly nightmarish situation after another."

The story for The Writer is pretty basic as stated above but can get really weird throughout the entire chapter and it might make some people look away, however it does lead to a very good conclusion and does add a few good twists throughout the DLC.
Graphics: (Not included)
Music: (Not included)
Pros:
Enjoyable story.
New environment to explore.
More collectibles.
Good twists.
Good ending.
Cheap price.
Cons:
Short.
Not that many collectibles.
Overall: (9.5 | 10)
Rank: Must buy.
If you liked Alan Wake at all this DLC is a must buy at the cheap price of 560 MSP and with the addition to the story, be forewarned though that the DLC is not that long (only like two hours) and you probably won't need to play it again after beating it once due to there not being as many collectibles as last time and since most of the achievements throughout the game are fairly simple and can be achieved with little to no effort. If you don't mind the two cons though, The Writer DLC is a must-buy.
